What do you do with NOARCHIVE DB? [message #290912]

Hi all!

I have one DB which is not in ARCHIVELOG mode, because of its nature operation. I often backup it with recovery window of 7 days strategy with RMAN. However, it's not a safely backing up method, and I have not though about the other backup till now.

Would you like to give me some advice?

OS: HP-UX(PARISC) BE 11
DB: Oracle 10.2.0.2
Destination of backup file: Disk

If you are in NOARCHIVELOG mode, the only available backup is offline one.
I don't know what you mean with "it's not a safely backing up method".

Assuming I have got just one backup at Wednesday last week, but, at today - Tuesday, my Database hangs by media disaster or any reason. I think, data will be lost from the Wednesday to today.

Yes, this is what you chose to assume when you chose NOARCHIVELOG mode.

you can daily export application user for better safety.
export / import is not backup method. but as you said you can operate your database in archivelog mode and not able to take offline backup daily then you use export option with offine backcup.
