Hi all!

I checked the directory '/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/VNP/dbs' and the file snapcf_TINHCUOC.f already exist

Why? I really don't understand, last day I left the working, it was normally.

SVR4 Error: 2: No such file or directory

Explains it all.
Check your file path/variable. It is odd. You have repeating ORACLE_HOME.
ORA-01580: error creating control backup file

Thank you!

When you show me this mistake, I have seen. Thank again. I guess somebody used RMAN to configure it.

Can you help me about this Rman command "Configure..snap shot.."?

Thank you!

I tried to configure snap shot, however, I did not..

RMAN> configure snapshot controlfile name to '/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/VNP/dbs/snapcf_TINHCUOC.f';

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

ORA-27040: file create error, unable to create file
SVR4 Error: 2: No such file or directory

And then, I make one other directory called as /u02/snapshot_controlfile, navigated to it..

RMAN> configure snapshot controlfile name to '/u02/snapshot_controlfile/snapcf_TINHCUOC.f';

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

Why this rman command generate '/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product..' ?

Thank you for your reply!

Check /u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/VNP/dbs/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/NEO/dbs this path exists on your system or not. If it exists then check oracle has the permission on it.

Thank, Arju!

This path '/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/VNP/dbs' is the path of snapshot controlfile revoke, it was not double of.

I repaired this error!
