Hi all ,

i am following below document for the installation of 10g R2 on Linux
http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/smiley_10gdb_install.html

#Its Enterprise linux from Oracle itself
#uname -a
2.6.9-42.0.0.0.1.EL #1 i686 Athlon i386 GNU/Linux

#It fails during Product-specific Prerequisite Checks .
"checking for libaio-0.3.96 not found ..."

Document says we should have libaio-0.3.96 or later to install Oracle .But i am not getting this RMP package from anywhere Sad .

Can someone please help me .

Hey! I type "libaio-0.3.96" in Google search and found a download site as first answer.
Maybe it is not for your Linux but it worth to try it.

Regards
Michel

Did you try looking on the CD's that you created for the Oracle Enterprise Linux? I believe that particular rpm should be on CD 3.

All the rpm's that you need should be present in the RPM directory on one of the Linux CD's that you created.
