how can i send mail by java useing smtp server (SSL)?

It's smile. First of all you can configure SMTP.

start -> run -> inetmgr (IIS) -> Choose SMTP -> configure.

Write your java code send mail. I don't know java.

Don't have "start", nor "run", inetmgr? command not found. IIS? nope.
Remember that not the whole world lives on Windows machines.. (au contraire, I'd say)

Thanks for your feed back.

"inetmgr"- It's not found mean IIS not available in your operating system.

Yes, Whole world live on windows machine. I agree your comments. But when you install windows operating system that some windows components (like IIS,FAX Agent etc...) not installing. If you need you can install windows components.

And everyone knows this ambition is why so many of the worlds important webservers run on Windows and IIS...

But I agree that he was wrong in assuming you use Windows. In the Oracle context, he would be safer to assume *nix as the platform.
