hi all,
i have read in many web pages that if u restore controlfile from autobackup and u have locally managed tablespace u need to add tempfile to temporary tablespace , or u will get an error if u try to make sort sql statement.
on my db, i have locally managed temp tbs, and i restored controlfile from autobackup , i didn't add any new tempfile to temp tablespace, i made sql containing sort , i didn't get error, and every thing went fine , my question is why they advise for adding tempfile if there is no problem ,
what is ur idea,
