hi everyone,
Actually some data was transfer from UNIX to WINDOWS somewhere in lakhs .but i want to ask if the data in unix is save in flat file still after that is it been transfered from unix to windows or the data is text file .

but the problem is that some data were missed after transferred .......
that's why i want to ask is it possible that the data will lost........................

please reply as soon as possible

Depends on how you transferred the file.
SCP works as-is.
With FTP/SFTP, what mode did you choose?
