Can you please help me understand how to pass arguments to a .sql file that is being called from a shell.

for example - In .sh file the lines are -
${ORACLE_HOME}/bin/sqlplus -s abcuser/abcuser@abc < ${ABCDB_DIR}/A.sql $val >>${LOG}

- now I want to pass '123456' to A.sql

Please suggest how to do that.

Thanks and regards,
