i'm trying to install Fedora Core5 linux.

i got the following error after inserting the first CD. could some decipher this and suggest any solutions.

or browse through the archives there.
This is OraFAQ.com we primarily deal with Oracle related stuff.
Not that we cannot support these but it is better dealt and reach many eyes in an appropriate forum
