Hi

Proc is hardly used anywhere. Most Oracle sites don't need the performance of Proc anymore. Instead most sites just buy all the hardware they need.

Having said that, Proc is used more than OCI. I suspect OCI is only used by a few application vendors like Quest, PLSQL developer and such like. Most other application vendors use ODBC or JDBC.

Which is a shame because C/C++ application server performance is vast compared to J2EE application server.
