Hi there !
I'm trying to install oracle 10g r2 on kubuntu 5.10 that is a debian based distribution. I follow the instructions provided into this french Howto : http://www.hicham.cliranet.com/slashroot/index.php?2005/12/01/25-installation-d-oracle-10g-sur-une-ubuntu-brezzy-badger
inspired by this one : http://www.togaware.com/linux/survivor/Oracle_10g.shtml

but at the stage of the database creation in the install process(dbca) i've got this popup message :

ERROR-12547 : TNS: Lost contact

Is there anybody that could help me ???
Thanks
