We have installed oracle 10.1.0.0 and installed the .NET Provider for that from
Oracle.

Now when very first time when i have installed the DB and created a new DB i
have set itup TNSNAME.ora and SQLNET.ora files

When i have installed the .NET provider, oracle recommends to install in new dir
(default Client_1 or Clinet_2) under oracle\product\10.1.0 folder

now after installation do i need to copy those tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora files
into Client_1\network\admin directory.

becoz i have already set it up in Db_1\network\admin directory.

so when i do tnsping, it will show me descriptor values based on Db_1 tnsname
file or Client_1\ tnsnames file.

or i dont need to copy tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora file into Clinet_1 folder for
.NET Proivder?

Thanks
