Dear All

I need to resize the following SGA parameters, can someone please provide a list of steps of how to go about it?

I know some of them can be done dynamically while the instance is running. I need to know how to do it when the instance is shut down.

current set value(MB) New value (MB)
JAVA_POOL_SIZE 160 0
SHARED_POOL_SIZE 160 128
DB_CACHE_SIZE 32 500
LARGE_POOL_SIZE 16 16

Using Oracle9i 9.2.0.6

Regards

When DB is down, change these parameters in init.ora file. Startup the database using this file & then recreate the spfile when the DB gets started.
