Dear Friends,

Can i know what is meant by Technical Documents in OracleApps relating to GL/AP/AR.

What is the purpose of these Technical Documents.

Hi,

You probably mean Technical Reference Manual (TRM)?
They're describing the datamodel for the different Apps-modules. You'll find a listing of tables, columns, views and dependencies.

For versions of Oracle Applications higher than 11.0.3, there are only electronic technical reference manuals. I am not sure if you can obtain these on OTN (http://www.otn.oracle.com) but I think you can. They are also on metalink (http://metalink.oracle.com) under 'Top Tech Docs' --> 'eTRM'. These online reference manuals also have ERDs for most modules (all of the ones you described at least... I think HR is missing)

These manuals provide the technical relationships that exist among database objects (views, tables, etc.)
