I need suggestions from you people regarding this that on which paramteres I should concentrate so that I can have performance benefits for my database.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

V$SYSSTAT is not the best place to start looking for performance problems and potential gains. Rather take a couple of STATSPACK snapshots and analyse the output.

If you are running 10g, login to Database Control and use the ADDM facilities to analyse your database's performance.

Best regards.

Frank
