Hi

I have setup Oracle 9i on a Win2k machine. The machine is on a network with 10 nodes, mostly Windows OS'es but my main machine runs Mandrake 10.1.

My problem is that while I can access isqlplus from any Windows machine ie; http://dbsvr:7778/isqlplus I cant from this machine. All machines use Netscape.

I have disabled the firewall that comes with Mandrake etc.
I have tried just about all the online documentation I could find any info regarding this issue. Any one else encountered this problem? If so, what did you do to resolve it?

I have VMWare with win2k on the machine that has mandrake on it as the OS and it can access isql plus.
Is there and specific port etc, that this machine has to use to access isql via a browser?

Sorry for the late reply. I found this in the docs:
"SQL*PlusĀ® User's Guide and Reference Release 10.1" states

iSQL*Plus uses HTTP port 5560 by default. If iSQL*Plus is not available on port 5560, read the $ORACLE_HOME/install/portlist.ini file to find the port on which iSQL*Plus is running.
