I have created a second database, outside of the system database, for doing development, etc.

How do I get the Enterprise Manager up and running for this instance?

I run the following command as the oracle user:

emctl start dbconsole

This only starts the default console for the system database. I need to have the instance started for my new database.

Any hints or information on this would greatly be appreciated.

You can configure additional instances using the emca utility in ORACLE_HOME/bin.

Best regards.
