Technisource is in need of a Senior Database Administrator. Candidate will be part of a DBA team that provides 24x7 production support for client internal International and Business Systems customers. Provide Oracle and Sybase Database Administration support to numerous systems on the UNIX and Linux platforms. This is an exciting high profile group within the company. Participate in production support and implementation of Sybase and Oracle databases, design and tune critical high volume OLTP databases, and contribute to database infrastructure enhancements. Monitor utilization and address inappropriate data usage. Implement ongoing quality control and ensure effective integration of databases into systems. Takes the initiative to lead projects and has the drive for success.
Required Skills: Sybase Database Administration, Oracle Database Administration, Java, Perl and Shell Scripting, Performance and Tuning, SQL, and Server buildouts.
