I am installing Oracle 9i client on a desktop machine. I keep getting the following error message.
"There was a problem in accessing the staging area. Please make sure the specified values of 'Source' and 'Destination' are valid"
All the installation directory entries are correct. The computer I am installing on has 8i on it already and the user has 'played' with oracle installs in the past.
Any thoughts on where to look ??

Hi all, i'm facing a big problem while installing oracle 9i client .System hangs up at 100% while installing oracle content syndicate server .
kinldy let me know the solution either to exclude this component or to complete the installation.
