Not sure if this would be helpful.

Sound like some sort of file permissions or user issue.

Tell us more, server os, workstation os, is this Citrix/terminal service connection Etc.

thanks for the response, actually i got it to work. every time i got an error message telling me something caused an error, i searched for the file in my computer. when i found each one, they had duplicates. I deleted one of them and now its fine, i think i got an error while i was installing and then i just installed again and didnt deinstall everything first. so i had double files.
