If I installed Oracle 9.2 DB and Server on my standalone machine Red Hat Linux OS, but want to
do all work with database tables and PL/SQL applications from Windows XP Pro, which I also have on my machine, what do I have to set up?
My guess is - I have to somehow link Windows to Oracle
Server on Linux.
If this is true, how do I do that?

Make sure oracle is intalled and listener is running on the linux system. Install oracle client on Windows XP. Install all mangement/developer tools too. Include your linux oracle databases in the tnsnames.ora file on XP. You should be all set.
You can pretty much do everything from XP.
