I have worked through the problems of installing Jinitiator 1.1.8.7 onto a P4 box and everything seems to be running properly.

However, I now have an issue whereby once you are in the Oracle app, the Oracle app does not recognize any printers that are set up on the Windows 2000 box. If you do a file&#124print, you get no response at all.

I receive the same results with both Netscape and IE plug-ins. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
Dave

Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do?

If you are trying to use the Enterprise Manager web client then you might see something like this.

I had installed the 1.1.8.7 Jinitiator plug-in and worked through those problems. (There is a whole thread on that in this forum). After installing it and getting it to work, the JRE that is created, doesn't pick up any of the installed printers from the W2K environment.

Selcting File&#124Print does not bring up the print dialog box. It does nothing.

Does that help explain?
Thanks,
Dave
