after renaming the name of the win2k server the oracle agent woudnt start with error 3221356559. whats im missing? dont find any reference to the old server name.

Any one figure this one out? I get the same error when I move the w2kServer to a new network.

The error raise at the end of agent start. In fact the trace file is complete.
You need clean the directory ORACLE_HOMENetworkagent from the *.q files. They contains sum jobs or events that raise the error.

after renamed the server I had this problem-> solved by deleting the *.q files.

Give the server a computer name before installing oracle, but if the oracle is installed, uninstall the oracle and use regedit to remove it from the registry, delete oracle folder from program files or any other location it was installed and reboot.
