hi...
i facing this problem where i have my linux server and a folder in windows machine shared....now the problem is that i cannot move a file out of the folder of windows to a folder in linux without root privilages...i want to do it as an oracle user group and not root....but it is not happening....how can i do that...

Hi,

Umount and mount with appropriate options (UID and GID). Do a "man mount" to get the details.
