I am using an Oracle 9.01 database on Radhat Linux 7.3.
I have created another user and added him to 'dba' group and set all relevant environment variables including LD_LIBRARY_PATH. When I try to connect to database as that user it throws the following error:

"oraclelinora: error while loading shared libraries: libodm9.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

The file is present in $ORACLE_HOME/lib directory.

Can somebody tell me how do I resolve this Pl?

This problem was resolved by adding the following line to /etc/ld.so.conf file and then running 'ldconfig' command.

/database/base/product/9i/lib
