Hi,

I have the following questions:

I would like to know what are the problems or issues that someone can face having Redhat 8 and installing Oracle 9i R2. Are there many problems with that configuration? Will Oracle DB work fine in RH 8?

Actually I have had a lot of problems trying to create the DB. Installation is ok, but when I try to create the DB, problems appear. Messages like "Database is not open" are shown and the DB creation is aborted. Does anyone have an idea on what is happening?

Also, is there any file that should be deleted after uninstalling the Oracle 9i software with runInstaller?

All the answers will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
