I have downloaded 3 installation disks from oracle website and burned on 3 different cds. Then from the cd, I extracted them to my local machine. When I extracted on to my machine, it is just one file (there are no multiple files). I tried double clicking on it. It says, "Nautilus did not install anything to view this file".
Please help. How can I install this.
Thanks in advance,
Thomas

There was an article posted recently about installing ora 9i on linux.

I suggest you read that first.

It might also be helpful to learn a bit of linux before you try it!
