hello to all experts ,

i have a great problem in accesing my drive d: astonisihingly.I have 20 gb hdd.
From 15 Gb i install linux(RH 7.2) .I have dual-boot with windows & linux.In windows I have only
c: and d: . After Uninstalling Linux and deleting partition by using fdisk /mbr and then from linux
bootable CD using linux expert command 'd' i delete linux partition from extended partition.
Now when i boot after delete it shows my drive d: ok but after next startup when i acceessed
my d: it shows a message ::
1."drve d: is not accessible and the device attach to system is not functioning."
from DOS prompt d:> ok .but when dir it shows.
2.general failure reading drive d: 'retry,ignore,abort'.
after using startup floppy disk when fdisk the partition information shows
3.that file format for d: is unknown.
when try scandisk from windows it shows...
4.'d: is not accesible, either file format is unknown or some utility program locks te drive'
the proparties for d: shows....
5.file system::FAT, 0 bytes full and 0 bytes left(surprisingly like any Cd-rom drive without CD)

what's the problem with my d:,plz anyone suggest me.Plz don't suggest for formatting(i hate it).
Becoz i have to recover data abt 7GB on that drive.

An early reply is appreciable.

Thanks in Advance.

Bye ,
Erosy.
