Hi, Everyone
When I try to install oracle 8.1.7 on RedHat linux8.0,
during configuring the starter database, it prompts ORA-03114 error, I don't know why. Anywhere, I install according to the Installation guide one by
one. Anybody can tell me why? Please mail to me thanks !

I met this problem several days ago. I found a paper on the 3rd page of this forum which is about this problem. Perhaps you should install a package about glibc.
