I had no problem starting Oracle while at the linux7.2 server in GNOME. But after we moved the server to a new location, I logged in using SSH
but failed in getting Oracle started. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Nothing was written into alert log or trace files. Here is the error message I got:

--------------------------------

dbstart

i used
sqlplus /nolog
connect / as sysdba
startup

but got exactly the same thing...

Hi,

Check that your Operating System time is NOT set to a date prior to the creation date of the datafiles.

Best regards.
