Hi

I am trying to install 9.2 in Linux 7.2.
I have followed all of the preinstallation steps mentioned in oracle installation document (otn).

However each time I run runInstaller, the Oracle Universal Installer exits at following point:
Loading java runtime environment. The progress bar is at 66% of the installation.

What could be the problem here.
This machine has 8.1.7 up and running. Oracle Universal Installer does not prompt Unix Group name etc. It directly goes to step 8 which has screen to enter Oracle Home.

Thanks in advance

You need more swapspace: on my own experience
jre/Installer exceeds 750 MB !! There is a nice
document where your '66%' seemend to be a feature/bug
caused by a memory leak when less swapspace - its in
german but its 'easy listening'
