dear sir,
I am trying to install Oracle 8.1.7 on Redhat Linux 7.1. I set all the PATH settings and DISPLAY host to locahost:0.0 .

before this I had set the patch and jdk118.

When I press ./runInstaller,display the follow message:

Initializing Java Virtual Machine from ../stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/DataFiles/Expanded/linux/bin/jre. Please wait...

Then press enter exit to $ command line.

Why I can not start runInstaller normal?

help me ,please!
