I have an error while installing oracle 8.1.6 under Red Hat linux 7.2 while linking it gives an error
"Error in invoking target ntcontab.o of make file /u01/app/product/8.1.6/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk".
Can anybody help me in this matter

continue the installation. afterwards get the oracle patch and execute it. things will work fine then.
