I understand how to set up intercompany relationships in oracle 11i Admin->Account Intercompany.
However, our situation is unique or should I say the nature of our business. For one company we might have 5-10 different intercompany relationships that need to be establishied, but within the intercompany relationships window. Oracle will only allow you to set up one relationship per company.

As a result we have to constantly reverse all the journal entries from the default clearing company account and then create the correct intercompany accounts manually because we can only establish one company per intercompany relationship.

For example:

company 7109

due from account 7109.000.55566.000000.7901.0000
due to account 7901.000.55566.000000.7109.0000

If I try to add another intercompany relationship with the same company for example:

company 7109
due from account 7109.000.11055.000000.8595.0000
due to account
8595.000.11055.000000.7109.0000

Oracle will not accept the same company number with different intercompany relationships.

Any suggestions?

Anne
