Hi,
How to schedule to run the program automatically. When i schedule a program and press OK.It opens the Login screen. Do have to give the xpress server USER ID and PASSWORD.
Kindly help. waiting for reply

u can schedule the program in two ways
1. if u ur express in installed on unix server then just do the following
a. write a cron script, where u should write a line command to attach the db
b. then call the program
c. disconnect the db
2. Use the batch manager tool in express tool kit
in batch manager,
a. configure the connectivity
b. call the program from a batch

Im very much new to this OLAP. kindly tell me step by step
Im using Windows NT
What is the difference in scheduling the job in administrator and in batch utility
when can i run the batch utility and first of all how do i connect in batch utility is it the administrator login?
