Hello all,

I have an Oracle 8.1.7 database on an NT 2000 box. On boot up the SID service starts but the database is not open. I have to go to svrmgrl to startup the database. What gives? I have other NT/Oracle database that open fine when booted. Yes, the start parm in the registry is set to TRUE.

TIA,

Woody

Change it to auto in service manager - this will do the job without hacking the reg.
