i am fresh post graduate in computer applications i need ur suggestions in learning java from basics and all as i am novice to the language,so please suggest me the methodology and books from basics and all

hello Aditya
As u said you are a post graduate in computer applications, then u must be comfortable with oops concept.if this is the case then u should go ahead with the idea of learning java. but if you are not so comfortable with the concept then you should learn oops(c++) before learning java.
Sugested Book:-
Complete Reference. edition 5th.
