Hello all.

This is the first time i am using oracle 9i release 2. I am installing it on my win 2000 server and i am getting an error:

"The value of the environment variable path is more than 1023 characters. This value cannot be set", can anyone please advise what this is about ?

Your assistance would be much appreciated.

regards.

See the path of the Environment Varible,if the path does not contain $oracle_home,such as d:oracleora81bin,you will get the error above.Just set the path manully,do check in the DOS command, type path:,if you see the $oracle_home is in the path it lists, then it'll be ok!
