Oracle Universal Installer error message [message #91736]

I've repackaged 8.1.7.0.0 Standard Edition on a W2K Pro machine with Wise 8.1. When I install this on an other machine i'll get the following error:
The Java RunTime Environment was not found at binjrew.exe. Hence, the Oracle Universal Installer cannot be run. Please visit http://www.javasoft.com and install JRE version 1.1.7 or higher and try again.

Everything is working ok except the OUI. Is there someone who has a solution for this (installing a higher version of JRE is not an option).

Fixed the problem myself. I was missing the file oraparam.ini in c:program filesoracleoui.

e:/stage/components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.7.30/1/datafiles/expanded/jre/win32/bin....

what can i do to correct the error message

the following error

java runtime environment is not found
at binjrew.exe

install javasoft.com from jre1.1.7.30 or higher

i am using windows 2000 operating system
what can i do and how install oracle 9i

when I am trying to install oracle 9i in windows 2000
I am getting the following error message :

The java Runtime Environment was not found at
C:DOCUME~1ADMINI~1LOCALS~1TempOrainstalljrebinjrew.exe. Hence, the oracle universal installer cannot be run.
Install JRE version 1.1.7 or higher and try again

Please resolve this problem as early as possible.
