Hi friends,

If in replication, the oracle of Master Definition site is crashed then is there any way out to restore Master definition site? Or one will have to create entire replication envirnoment once again from scratch.

You can relocate the Master Def site to another server. You will need to use the option of not notifying the previous Master Def site - since it is no longer available. Then you may continue managing your replication using the new Master Def site.

It is also helpful if you create a series of scripts to setup your replication - then you can re-run any of the individual steps as needed. Here is an example of scripts which I use:
