RDBMS Version: 10g
Operating System and Version: windows2003 server
Product : Oracle Cluster Ready Services
Product Version: Release 1 (10.1.0.2.0)

My Problems:

1- i have 2 network cards on each node with 2 IP ,
Like 10.0.0.6 & the other 10.0.0.224
& i add the IP's in the host file
but when cluster configuration step
i can't see the other node & give me the error message

"the local node entry in cluster configuration information dose not match with entry c:windowsystem32driversetchost file"
what should i do ?

2 - in the Hardware what it mean by "External shared disks"
is it mean scsi disks or can i use IDE hard disk?

THANKS
