Hello All,

I am unable to populate detail form, if entering Master details.

e.g If I am entering PO Number in Master, related lines should get populated.

If I am querying PO number field, I can see the Line details. But In non query mode

Please do let me know How can I achieve this

I'm not sure that
a) I understand what you are saying
b) You understand how Forms work

If you used Data block wizard (and yes, you should have) to create master-detail relationship, Forms would create all necessary triggers and procedures to make that relationship work.

When you run a form and enter query mode, then - by querying master block - detail block will automatically be populated (if detail data exists).

If you are in insert mode, then entering values in master block won't do anything "automatically" - you have to navigate to detail block and enter detail data.

Thanks for Replay..

Below is my detail requirement.

Form has two section header and details. In header i am selecting PO Number from LOV.

Once I Select PO Number from LOV, corresponding PO lines should be populated in detail form.

Hope this is more clear.

Absolutely.

OK then - all you have to do is:
- enter query mode
- select value from a LoV
- execute query
