First you restore the database from backups & then you open it.

Your IP shows your are in Iran.
You say you are in Japan, so you lie and know you do something wrong.

Now, it is useless to create new topics for the same question, I will merge all of them.

Also, it will be useless to create new accounts for the same reason.

Isn't Iran under export restriction? If so, isn't the very fact that he has a copy of Oracle a violation of law?

This is why I posted this information.
But Oracle Technology Network License Agreement says:

Quote:
Export Controls
Export laws and regulations of the United States and any other relevant local export laws and regulations apply to the Programs . You agree that such export control laws govern Your use of the Programs (including technical data) and any services deliverables provided under this agreement, and You agree to comply with all such export laws and regulations

which may be interpreted (but I'm not a lawyer) that some local laws may override USA ones and allow someone in some country to help, so I let this topic and account (as we did in the past with all of them).

Ed, there have been a couple of moderator discussions on this. The problem is that while OP's use of Oracle is illegal under US law, it is of course legal under Iranian law. Many OraFAQ members are either American or (like me) want to remain on good terms with the US (and with Larry) so we won't usually help, but the board is not hosted in the US and enforcing US law is not part of its purpose.

I can't help people who help someone who illegally use Oracle, this is against OTN license agreement
