Hi,

What could be the reason when batch job is running slow all of a sudden ?

Who knows? With all the information you provided, maybe someone turned the TURBO switch off.

This is a global phenomenon caused by reduced sun spot activity. There are currently lower than usual levels of Higgs bosons passing through the ether, which slows the velocity of electron transmission through the semi-permeable NAND gates that implement internal CPU logic.

You may find that you can compensate for this by placing your computer in a microwave oven.

OP is based out of India, and currently there is a turmoil in the temperature differences across the country. With the information provided by OP, I guess there was no air conditioner or equivalent temperature control equipments implemented in the server room. Thus, due to extreme physical conditions, now the batch jobs are running slow with lack of adequate resources.
