Dear all,
How to understand the two parameters db_file_name_convert and log_file_name_convert,if there are missing in the parameter file of standdy database,how does oracle will do?

Then you must get error.
db_file_name_convert and log_file_name_convert parameter using for standby database datafiles and redo logfiles.
If you not set any one parameter then, on standby control file need change datafiles or redologfiles location.
