I'm installing oracle 11gr2 on server 2008R2 64bit

I installed oracle for 32bit .

What is the difference between the two oracle installations (32bit and 64bit)?

32 bits is the difference between 64 bits and 32 bits.

You should install the correct Oracle version for your operating system. 32-bit Oracle may or may not work on your 64-bit operating system. 64-bit would run better. Please click on the link below for 32-bit versus 64-bit in general and scroll up and down for additional information regarding 64-bit.
