Database Instance: APSRIMESD

Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance. The state of the components are listed below. Page Refreshed Jun 3, 2011 5:09:18 PM

I can acess the DB,But i cant acess trough EM.


Error.
In EM screen it showing DATABASE INSTANCE is down.

Agent connection to DB is inavailable.

It it has two tab in right hand side :

startup and perform recovery ...if i click on this it is asking to perform recovery.

Dear,

U can make database up by: startup command, you can also try shutdown abort and then startup.

As you are using windows os so for listner, check for windows services by Start -> Run -- Services.msc and press OK
If any oracle service is stopped , start it.

Alternately 50% problems in windows are solved by restarting system.

thanks for support problem solved !!!

FYI
1. emca -deconfig dbcontrol db (to drop old config files)
2. emca -config dbcontrol db (to create new config files)

emctl stop dbconsole
emctl start dbconsole

restart the DB

Works fine..
