Is there any type of compression available for transporting the log files to a physical standby database in 11gR1 using dataguard with out having to purchase the advance compression option?

For example, I have a db using 80 gb of redo. I am concerned about the bandwith and latency for transporting this over the network to a physical standby database with dataguard. Does data guard have any built in compression features or do we need to purchase the advanced compression option.

  1* select round((80*1024)/(60*60)) MB_SEC from dual
SQL> /

    MB_SEC
----------
	23

Now this requires some serious networking bandwidth.
