How did you transfer export file to another server? If it was FTP, did you use binary mode? (You should have).

Perhaps the export file is corrupted?

Dear all,
Thanks for your update.
Both source and target database are of same version and i have copied the dmp file in my server (source) sharing folder and from their i have copied to my target system ( where i am trying to import ).
Actually i am trying to create the development server in my company for doing testing for which i was trining to export ( which was successfull) and later importing ( which i am getting problem).
Need your immediate help in this regard.
Thanks in advance.

Since Oracle complains LOUDLY about problems during import, I can only conclude that target is different from source.
You have provided NO details to guess at what specifically might be causing the errors

It would be helpful if you followed Posting Guidelines - http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/88153/0/

Dear,
Thanks for your immediate response.
Dear, we at the end of every month we will take the export of our live database and import it into our development server.
this i was doing many times
But this time i am getting this kind of error. I am getting afraid of any data corruption in Live database.
Waiting for your immediate inputs.
Thanks in adwance.

We only know what you post.
Obviously something changed. Do any clues exist in alert_SID.log for either DB?
