Hi,

As we know there is no option to restore single table from rman backups. I don't the reason why we cannot do it? Could you provide exact reason for it?

RMAN works at physical level.
A table is a logical object.
I don't see any reason why RMAN would know something about what is inside the files, it is not its job.

Something you explored about your idea?

I knew you knew what does RMAN work exactly, someone in China wrote a utility get rows from datafile, such like Oracle's internal utility. Now, you will show your experiences to the forum, will you?
