Hi,
I have oracle 10gR2 (ASM) running on HP-UX. I have enabled BCT but last week there was some problem in the disk group where I put the bct file and the diskgroup was dismounted because of which the BCT got disabled.
I haven't enabled the BCT yet, will my backup (incremental and merge) are still valid? or it is of no use until I run a full backup again?
Thanks

Yes, there are valid.
BCT is only used to speed up the backup (when appropriately used).
